The Beehive‘s jazz brunch is definitely one of the best in town. Against the eclectic yet elegant, artistic backdrop, the food stands out as superb – American classics with hints of Middle Eastern and Eastern European influence. Jazz is performed every Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. but spots fill up quick, so don’t forget to make a reservation soon!
Bloody Mary
The BM, a drink I am very particular about, was spicy, refreshing, thick and delicious, blended with Worcestershire and horseradish as is obviously necessary for any good breakfast drink designed to wake you up.
Eggs Benedict w Smoked Salmon
The smoked salmon was a really fun replacement for the traditional smoked ham and the over-easy egg burst forth creamy yolk which covered it’s crispy English muffin bed with a deliciously rich, velvety blanket of flavor. A perfect weekend brunch that will lull you into a dreamy buzz.
Turkey Hash with Poached Eggs
Juicy, tender chunks of turkey mixed with scorched onions and bite-size bits of potato scraped up from the sauce-pan and onto the plate. Two beautiful white, soft poached eggs with runny, golden yolk waiting inside to be let out. Thick, salty and decadent béchamel sauce poured over the top. Served with a side of greens. A fantastic dish.
I’ve been to the Bee Hive for dinner but never their jazz brunch – I will definitely need to check it out! Thanks for sharing your photos, everything looks delicious.
